The first step is to reach out for a brief phone consultation to see if we may be good a fit for each other. I will ask why you’re seeking therapy, and you can get a feel for my personality and therapy style. Based on both your comfort level in speaking with me, and my assurance of being able to provide you with what you’re looking for, we can schedule an appointment.

In our first session, I will gather information about your background and more details about what’s bringing you to therapy in order to discuss a course of treatment that meets your individual needs.

At the end of our first session, I will ask if you’re interested in continuing to work with me, or if you prefer that I refer you to someone who may meet your needs differently than my approach.

This is your life, your commitment, and your healing. You should work with someone you feel compatible with.
