Do you take insurance?
I am considered an “out of network” provider and do not work directly with insurance companies. However, I can provide monthly invoices, called superbills, that can be submitted to insurance companies for reimbursement. Depending on your plan, you may be able to get reimbursed for a portion of each session after you meet your deductible. If this interests you, here are some questions I recommend you ask your insurance provider directly:
1. Does my policy cover out-of-network mental health providers?
2. What is my deductible and has it been met yet?
3. What percentage of my bill will be covered for services obtained by an out-of-network provider?
Do you meet with clients in person or virtually?
Both! I have an office in Santa Monica and am there Tuesday - Thursday. I also provide video and/or phone sessions if Telehealth is preferable for your schedule.
